In one week, The Binds That Tie will be released. I’m chuckling because while this is Book One of my new Steel Door M/M BDSM Romance series, i wrote it after I wrote Book Two – If You Can’t Take The Heat – which is part of Paige Tyler’s Dallas Fire & Rescue Kindle World launch on October 13th.
This snippet takes up a few lines down from last week’s post. Kalen speaks first.
When Kalen’s warm, slightly calloused hand massaged his buttocks, he moaned. “Feel good, boy?”
The first smack was loud in the room and while it was hard, it didn’t hurt necessarily. Joaquin relaxed a little. The second blow was about the same intensity and a little lower. Each fall of Kalen’s hand fell with the crack of a bullet, but besides warmth slowly spreading across his ass, it didn’t hurt and he enjoyed the feeling. Though he wasn’t sure why it was called erotic. It didn’t feel that way.
Until Kalen slid his fingers between Joaquin’s cheeks and rubbed over his hole.
A barista by day and a drag queen by night, Joaquin Emerald loves his careers. It’s the rest of his life that bothers him. When he finds himself in danger, trapped with no way out, he is rescued by Dr. Kalen Moor.
When they run into one another again, this time at the BDSM club Steel Door, their attraction is intense, their passion is over the top, and their kinks are in alignment. From that moment, it’s hard to stay away from one another. When Joaquin’s past comes back to haunt him, he’s afraid Kalen won’t want him.
It might take going around the law, but Kalen is determined to save his boy, even if it means losing him in the process.
