Trust your dom, Blake #SedStuds #BDSM #MMRomance

Welcome to another Seductive Studs Saturday! Ready to read some M/M snippets?

My next book won’t be out for a couple months, so I thought I’d thumb through my backlist and give you a reminder. Blake & Dusty rarely get ‘air time’ so I thought I would bring these two out for a little dusting off. In this scene, Blake has a breakdown every year on his birthday, which also is the anniversary of his parents’ deaths. This year, the pain of it being his 40th birthday just adds to it. He has just learned that the dom he’s been serving online is a man he met in person the night before. Dusty has giving him a few rules and he felt a couple of them were strange enough to ask about. Dusty is the first speaker.

“Animals are pretty basic. Whether or not the animal has had a bad experience, you have to convince an animal one of two things. The first is that you’re in charge. If they don’t believe that one, then you need to convince them that you’re so crazy they need to keep their eyes on you at all times because who the hell knows what you’re gonna do next.”

Blake’s eyes widened and something between a chuckle and a snort came out of his throat.

Pleased at his reaction, Dusty continued. “Yep, and I’m not gonna tell you which one I am. You’ll just have to keep an eye on me to find out.” A grin lit up his face for a bare moment before sadness took over his eyes and it fell again. It gave Dusty hope as Blake could still see the humor in a situation.

“So,” he said, to get his boy’s mind back on the present, “you’ll ask me for everythin’. To use the restroom, to take a piss, to put on your clothes, to eat…Understand?”

He nodded. “Yes, Sir.” Dusty chuckled softly as Blake’s expression clearly stated he was not convinced this would work.

“Trust your dom, Blake.”

His lips twitched again and Dusty smiled, once again glad to see his boy’s sense of humor still in one piece.

“Now, for the third rule, I need to learn your physical tells for when emotions are gettin’ too much. As such, every time a thought comes into your head today that has to do with your parents, the accident, your guilt, your sister Tracy…anythin’ at all that brings up a bad emotion, I need you to tell me. But when those things happen, especially at first, you won’t be able to vocalize it. More than likely it will be too emotionally paralyzin’. So, I want us to work out a physical indication that you’re hurtin’. Can you do that?”

His jaw tightened, but slowly he nodded. “I can try.”

“That’s all I ask, Blake. This is not gonna be easy, especially at first.” Dusty opened his mouth to say something else, but stopped when Blake glanced at the bathroom and then back. “Yes?” Of course he could have just let his sub go, but this was the start of forcing Blake to focus on his dom’s command.

He grimaced and squirmed a little. “Sir, I need to use the bathroom.”

“Yeah, me too. Have for an hour or so.” Internally Dusty grinned, but on the outside he kept a moderate expression on his face. Frowning, Blake looked back at the bathroom. It made Dusty wonder how long it would take before he let himself ask.

As usual, his boy caught on quick. “May I go to the bathroom, Sir?”
