I thought I’d have a flashback to two of my favorite seductive studs: Logan and Christian. hubba hubba This scene takes place 24 hours after they met for the first time at a Christmas party, where Logan played Santa. The ‘she’ mentioned is Logan’s mom.
“Now,” she whispered conspiratorially, “I have a theory that my son, who has a very defined sweet tooth, has a sixth sense of when candy or cookies are brought out. If I am right, he should appear shortly.”
Chuckling, Christian had just taken a bite of a cookie when they heard footsteps on the stairs. Normally, he would be amused at the happenstance, but he was too nervous to be anything other than still.
“Hey, Mom, I was thinking of running out to…” As a hand with very long fingers reached for a cookie, the voice stopped as blue eyes met brown. “Christian?”
Trying to smile, Christian nodded. “Hi, Logan. So,” he said trying to bring some levity to the moment, “you lied. You aren’t actually Kris Kringle.”
Grinning slightly, with pink showing just barely over his russet skin, Logan ran his fingers through his hair. “It’s like a Superman thing,” he countered, his embarrassment washing away and a twinkle taking its place. “To the world I am Santa Claus or Kris Kringle. At home, I am simply Logan Davis Mannette.”
Snorting, Christian nodded. This he could handle, even if he had received the answer to his big question in the form of a hard-on barely covered by his button-down shirt. “Ah, I see. Well, you look really good for being a few centuries old, Logan. However do you do it?”
Holding up one finger, Logan disappeared into the kitchen and came back with a large glass and two bottles, one of Grape Nehi, one of Pepsi. “Shh,” he whispered. “This is a trade secret. What nobody knows is Grape Nehi and Pepsi, if done in the right combination, can keep you robust and young.”
Christian chuckled as Logan sat down and poured a shot of grape, then a shot of Pepsi. Back and forth he went until Christian finally asked “What happens if you put them in the wrong way?”
Pausing, Logan placed his bottles down and turned to Christian with a solemn expression on his face. “They are called elves, Christian.”
