Five crystal jars sat on a shelf, the flickering light of the candles glinting off each one. His grandfather, grandmother, uncle, and now his parents would forever make their resting place in the House of Knowing. It was suitable, he was told, because they all taught there and both his uncle and grandfather had been leaders.
