Took My Breath Away is now available! #gay #romance #spanking #booktour

Yes! Took My Breath Away, 2nd in the All They Ever Needed series is now available! Are you as excited as I am?

Not only do I get to share with you the next part of Logan and Christian’s journey, but this is also the official start to the Took My Breath Away Book Blog Tour. (Try and say that fast.) You can win one of some amazing prizes by getting involved in the daily posts over the next two weeks! Every day I will post here and on the Book Tour page where that day’s post is. Make sure and visit each one, read more about Logan and Christian (or my bizarrness) and get your entry in daily.

In this book, their relationship takes a wonderful leap forward and they start moving from ‘spanking is exciting and turns me on’ to ‘what’s this domestic discipline stuff and how is it going to work for us’. Again, you won’t find a lot of angst in their relationship because the one thing I like is how strong they are together, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any drama.

Cue the Mannettes, Logan’s father’s family. Okay, I’ll admit, I did have fun writing the stuffy, slightly over-the-top blue-bloods. And I did put Logan through hell. Don’t hurt me! It had to be that way. *grins* Just like Logan saved Christian in the first book. Christian has to save Logan in the second so they are on the right footing for the next one.

And just for fun, and because what the hell, I’m going to give you a look at Logan’s grandparents.

*****

“Master Logan. Your presence is requested.”
That sounded odd. No “your grandparents would like to meet you.” No, instead, his presence was requested. What was he here for, an interview? He walked forward, remembering Matthias’ request for him to stand up straight and stride confidently. Since that was something he was used to doing anyway, he walked into the room, turning to the right where three people stood at the end of the room – his uncle and his grandparents.
Breathing slowly to keep himself calm, he walked toward them, his eyes scanning the two individuals he had never seen before. His grandfather looked much like Matthias, except in comparison, Matthias looked downright friendly. Logan’s grandfather had silvery gray hair that had receded to the point where it only existed on the sides and back of his head, and dark brown eyes that looked darker with the huge eyebrows that seemed to tower over them were only the start. Frederich Mannette wore clothing that surely did not exist in this century: straight blue trousers with silver, raised lines running up each side, a tight, silver jacket with a few medals on it, along with a sash that matched the trousers. He looked like someone out of a very old photo come to life.
In stark contrast, Logan’s grandmother stood haughty and proud, her deep brown eyes watching every step Logan made. She wore a pantsuit in the same colors as her husband, her gray hair neatly styled, and jewelry everywhere – earrings, necklace, several rings, as well as a small tiara that sat atop her head. Aiglentine Mannette looked very over-done. Whereas her husband would have looked fine in an old photo, she would not. If Logan was any judge, he would say that she held the power in their relationship, and she downright unnerved him.
Realizing he was getting too close, he stopped, put his feet shoulder width apart and bowed his head respectfully. There were several minutes where the only thing he heard was the soft tick-tick-tick of the second hand on the clock nearby.

Book Description:

Took My Breath Away

All They Ever Needed, Book 2

About This Book

Sometimes taking control is what you need to do and sometimes the best thing you can do is give that control up.

In the summer between Logan’s junior and senior years of college, these two will find out more about each other and themselves than they imagined.

While unhappy to be missing four weeks of Christian’s company, Logan is thrilled to spend a month with his father’s relatives in New York. A naturally gregarious individual, he is used to winning people over and getting things right. Unfortunately, the Mannettes are not what he expects and for the first time in his life, he finds himself seriously doubting who he is.

Christian has regained some of his old self-esteem and is taking on new challenges. Besides growing in the relationship he has with Logan, he takes the time his boyfriend is away to learn more about domestic discipline. He learns a little online but it is actually Gregory, Logan’s father, where he gains most of his information. Including the fact that his natural strength puts him in a leadership position he isn’t expecting.

When Logan returns to a strong, self-assured Christian, it is with complete relief. As discussions turn to domestic discipline and they realize their true roles within their current and future relationship, both of them are able to let their inhibitions go and together their connection grows surprising Logan to an epiphany.
