Title: Through the Library Door
Genre: Paranormal BDSM Erotic Romance
Length: Novella (42,000 words)
Series: The Markham Library; Library Tales
“Deep within the library there are secrets untold, hidden within the pages of the books it protects. Some say it is old magic, some say it is a curse, but they all say that once a generation, the door will open and the one who enters will live out the story in one of its novels.”
18 yr old Landria expects to spend a dull summer at her aunt and uncleβs house. That is until she stumbles upon a dusty, unused library and finds her way into the pages of an erotic novel. Attacked within moments of entering the story, she is rescued by the hero, Lord Nicholas Waring, who intrigues her more than she wishes. Once she finds herself back home she cannot forget him. When he follows her into her world and they fall in love, will they be forced apart by the words already written or can they rewrite their story?
Through the Library Door is the fourth Library Tale, but it is also the first in The Markham Library series.
Library Tales are disconnected tales involving erotica and libraries. Some involve BDSM, some do not. The first three are between 4,000-15,000 words.
The Markham Library series is about a private library belonging to the Markham family. Within this library the heroine or hero of each novella/novel finds her or himself thrust into the storyline of one of the novels it contains. The second in the series should be out Summer/Fall 2013.

Looks great Thianna! The story/series concept is so unique. You have great ideas.
Thanks, Cara:) And thanks so much for your help!
It looks amazing Thianna. Cara's right… You do have great ideas!!! π Congrats!!!

Bad Penny
Thanks Penny:) The strangest ideas are sometimes the best ones:)
Nice! Do you do your own covers?
Thanks Kiki:) Yep. With each one I think I'm getting better and better. :)

The only cover I did not do was 'Twice as Nice: Anya's Tale".
Good job! How long does it take you to do your covers? I've thought about doing mine myself, but I don't think I have an eye for it. I pick the stock photos, and my graphic designer does her magic on it. I'm not sure I can train my brain to work that way π
Depends on the cover. This one took me about 15 hours, but that included downloading a myriad of stock photos to look at. The basic design/typography took me about 3-4 hours.
That's really impressive! I don't think I could do that…my ADD wouldn't allow it π Thank goodness for graphic designers….
