About This Book
Jack Carmichael’s natural instinct is to take care of people. In his job as a U.S. Marshal, he has done that for 25 years. Unfortunately, being married to his job has left his love life in tatters. Now classified unfit for duty, he retires and comes home to Colorado to figure things out. Dominant and used to taking control like his brother Brent, he has never been interested in spanking. Until a cute Nurse Practitioner catches his attention.
Josh Martin feels lucky. He’s not only accepted into Corbin’s Bend, but he’ll be working at the brand new Corbin’s Bend Medical Clinic as its only Nurse Practitioner. At thirty-two, he figures this is his last-ditch attempt at finding a dominant partner who isn’t abusive. He finds more than his share of dominant men in Corbin’s Bend, not the least of which are the Carmichael brothers. Brent’s dominance is both comforting and unnerving, Jack’s turns him on.
Josh is unlike any submissive male Jack has encountered and when the younger man asks him out, he decides to give it a go. One day of fun turns into two, three…until Jack, with more failed relationships than he can count in his past and unsure he can be the head of house Josh needs, leaves, burying himself once again in work. Forced to see the error of his decision, he puts aside the worries that have plagued him for months and returns to Corbin’s Bend. To become the good family man he wants to be, he has to earn back Josh’s trust and truly take on a role he’s never considered before: head of a loving discipline household.
All Corbin’s Bend books can be read as standalones. Each book is about a different couple in the spanking community of Corbin’s Bend, Colorado.
At that moment, the sound of the shower going on hit his ears and he swiveled toward the bedroom door. “Well, now…” If an opportunity presented itself, he would be an idiot to pass it up. Shower sex was always a joy. Without condoms or lube, he wouldn’t fuck him, but there were just so many other things they could do.
His clothes fell somewhere between the kitchen and the bathroom. As he stepped inside, the steam somewhat obscured his view of the man in the glass-walled shower. But not completely. “Hot damn.” Josh’s lean body looked gorgeous through the frosted glass. His head was under the faucet and for a moment, Jack just watched him. Until he realized he could be helping.
“Need someone to wash your back?” he asked, opening the door to the shower and stepping inside.
Josh whipped around, pushing the water out of his eyes as he stared, wide eyed. “Holy shit. Jack Carmichael’s in my shower. Naked.”
“Would you like me to leave?”
“That’s all I need.” Stepping forward, Jack backed his boyfriend up against the tiles. “This is a pretty decent sized shower for one man,” he said, pressing up against Josh from head to toe.
“I think,” Josh said, his voice breathy, “that your brother was thinking when he had the bathrooms designed. From what I can tell, all the showers are built for two adults.”
“Proof Brent does have brains,” Jack said, grinning. Josh’s cock had stiffened and pressed against the inside of his thigh. “You know, what with getting to know one another again, there’s something I’ve been wanting to do.”
Leaning in, Jack nibbled across his jaw to the man’s ear. “Bite.”
“Ah, yeah. Just make it somewhere people can’t see. I hate wearing high-collared shirts.”
Laughing softly, he pressed a kiss to the shoulder closest before giving him a little nip. The groan erupting from Josh’s throat combined with the hip thrust he just received let him know they were on the same wavelength. Well, alrighty then. Biting a little harder, he slid one of his hands between them and took Josh’s cock in his hand.

About the author:
Thianna Durston is a writer by day and supernova by night. Or at least that’s what the faeries tell her. And who is she to deny those pesky *cough* lovely little creatures?
She lives in the Pacific Northwest, though her heart belongs elsewhere. In the meantime, until she can return to the place she calls home, she happily lives in a city that still thinks it’s a small town. Thankfully, it has given her muse lots of amusing places to start a story.
